Default Would You Make Any Changes?

So I just scooped up Zibanejad and Schwartz to prepare for next year, however I'm wondering if there are any other moves to be made.

Some names of players available, looking for the players that have the most upside next year. Would you make any adds/drops to my current roster heading into next season?

Forwards:
Prospects:
Scheifele
Colborne
Neiderreiter
McGinn
Nyquist
Kadri
Loktionov
Adam
Kassian
Etem

Defense
Murphy
B. Smith
Hamilton

Yeah, just one. I'd drop Alfredsson and bring in Mark Scheifele. Otherwise, I think the only other candidate to drop is Andy McDonald, but he's been productive when healthy this season. I'd be VERY tempted to grab either Nyquist or Kassian and drop AM, just because he's older and injury prone. Its your call, I'd understand if you wanted to keep him and vice versa.

If McGinn keeps this up to end the season, he'll be worth a look.

Condiering Alfy will likely finish at 60 points this year and plans to return next year, do you think Scheifele would be able to provide that kind of offensive output next year? I'm not so sure. Had my eye on Nyquist but it looks like he'll spend the majority of next year in the AHL.

The move I'm contemplating right now is Alfreddson for McGinn or Kassian. Unsure, though. I plan on holding onto McDonald because he's great when active and can always be stored on IR when hurt.

60 points? Not a sure thing from any of these players, but Scheifele could have that kind of impact. He wasn't ready this year, you can bet he's chomping at the bit to make the Jets roster in 2012-2013. If you want more guaranteed production I'd go with Kassian, not McGinn. My best friends brother played with him when he was growing up, he's talented but not a great player. I understand what you're going through, that has to be a tough call.

I hope that helps.

I would be keeping Alfredsson if you can pick up another player similar to Zibanejad or Schwartz at this time next season to replace Alfy then.

All accounts look like he will be returning for the final year of his contract. The team should be better next year too. He will likely be lining up with Turris (who will be better next year) and one of the young swedes (Zib or Silfverberg) who will be a huge upgrade on the rotation of Condra/Klink/Butler/etc that has ended up in his line so far this season.

If healthy, I see 60 pts as a very safe projection for Alfredsson. And, as you said, that would be a stretch for any of the players you listed.

I would rather have Scheifele than Zibanejad. Also I would think about dropping Pronger unless u can move him in a trade.. I think his career is pretty much done, and considering you can bring in a brenden smith or Doug Hamilton for the future while still having 4 solid D to play next year, I think it would be a good move for the long term.

I actually do plan on dropping Pronger. Despite any upside he may have of coming back and producing next year, since he's on IR I would have to drop somebody on my roster to make room for him and that just doesn't make logical sense at this point.

Guy in my league picked up Huberdeau just before I had the chance unfortunately. I might hold tight with Schwartz/Zibinejad over the rest.
