Default Strome and Zibanejad

Do you think either or these prospect will be in the nhl next year? What do you see as realistic production out of both next year? In three years?

Thanks

I think Zibanejad will be. Strome might be a little further off, but has a good shot at it. It really just depends their training camp and those who may still be ahead of him. I think Ottawa is instead realizing they are on the cusp of doing something good here long-term and might bring Zibby into the fold earlier than NYI might do with Strome.

I think both will have a great shot of making the NHL next season. As far as production goes, I can see Zibanejad having a better rookie season then Strome. NYI's seem to screw with their rookies too much as they come in the league. I have watched too many of their highly touted rookies make the NHL squad and have really slow starts to their careers. I dont think I really need to offer any names as most on here can name at least 3 that fill that statement.

Zibanejad will get more opportunities in his rookie season to perform. Long term, its really tough to say who will out produce others. Some see Stromes upside as being higher. I think if he was a rookie on pretty much any other roster, I would agree with that. I like both and think both are excellent prospects.

In fantasy hockey I would take Strome over Zibababooey any day. In real world hockey I'd take Zibby. He'll be more important to the team than to his fantasy owners.

Cool, thanks guys! My pool has G, A, Pts, PPG, PPA, +/-, PIM, SOG, GWG as categories. Which of these two would you take? I would think strome may have higher point production and upside if he land on a line with tavares, but do you see Zibanejad being a PIM producer?

Any guesses as to their potential upside? are they 60 point guys? 70? 80?

I would put Strome's upside about 20 points higher than Zibby's. Zibby will probably not be a big time PIM guy. 60 points upside for Zibby and 80+ for Strome is how I look at it.
