This is a pretty tough one. All things being equal, I think you have to say Malkin here. He has missed time in the past though and Crosby has missed time too, so I personally would worry just slightly about an injury risk. I know that can be debated heavily, but I chose Giroux for that reason. Now that I see the results, I don't think my opinion matters all that much.

I will admit to being another one. Even if they are in tight scoring races for the next 5 years, I'd rather some consistency from Giroux.

fair enough boys ..... I was looking at it this way. I have Giroux in my points only keeper with my buddies and if I was offered Malkin for him I would do it.

I'm confident Malkin will stay healthy enough.

Easiest one of the Elite 8 for me Malkin by 10-20 pts a year...

This one isn't even close. Giroux has had a concussion injury...so he doesn't get off scott-free on the injury front in my books...and if they played an equal number of games, Malkin is 20 points better...not close at all folks!

I couldn't agree more, not to mention Malkin is in the best shape of his life and his off season training is much better now than it use to be. That knee injury appears to have been a bit of a wake up call for him.

Malkin... by a big gap.
I like Giroux... but I don't think people are giving Jagr enough credit for his impact on Giroux's point output. You'll see it once Jaromir is gone... yes you will. |
