Hey Dobber Nation,
Now I know these forums are filled with wisdom of all sorts and I'm hoping I can find some in the form of help with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in excel. It's pretty straight forward coding I'm doing, its essentially reading the value in one column which identifies the type and summing the column beside it for all values that fall into the type. I'm doing an analysis of the last 15 years of NHL drafts and this code would save me a good (and long) days work. If there is anyone out there who knows anything about VBA, please let me know and we can likely hash this out in a couple of solid lines of code. Reward? Rep of course and recognition on the analytical paper. Its about all I can offer, but hopefully someone is interested in giving a few posts to help me with this! Thanks guys. TPC

Shoot me a PM with the details (and the Excel file) and I'll take a look at it. I know VBA.

Chinny (from the forums) could potentially help you out as well - depending on his time.
