A little of column A and a little of column B. He showed at the World Juniors that while he is a talent his offense still has a long way to go but I wouldn't read too much into his stats in Sweden, his teammate Jonas Brodin is a player everyone is excited to see and he has just eight assists in the 16 more games. Still a long way from making an impact IMO.

I'm in agreement with metaldude here. He doesn't have sky-high offensive abilities, but his overall game + leadership has him pegged for top 4 potential, possibly top pairing.
He's playing for Farjestads who have a pretty good team and a lot of veteran Dmen eating up minutes instead of Klefbom, because the SEL isn't a development league. Scoring is also drastically lower there than many leagues, with Farjestads' leading scorer having a massive 39 points in 53 games. Their leading defensive scorer has sixteen points. I mean, when Lidstrom was in the SEL at 19yo, he put up 16pts in 39gp. It's difficult to put up points in that league, and age is also an obstacle, especially if your team has good depth.

Behindthenet seems to believe that Euro leagues give out second assists at a lower rate, so that might have been what you were thinking.
