And yeah....when I heard the theory I was pretty pumped as well so I read up on it a bit. You can find some pretty serious people that break it down into the timelines and it makes a ton of sense.

All those deaths I did not believe. Brienne was close. When Martin kills somebody, he leaves no doubt: Ed, the King of the North, Tywin etc..

I wish these books were fresher in my mind I love discussing them.

I got 2 feet in the "Jon isnt really dead" camp but all my theories have slipped my mind. I really need to re-read these with season 2 only a month away.

Regarding Jon's parents, I think he's a Targaryen-Stark hybrid. Born in the tower where Ned found Lyanna, fathered by Rhaegar.

Most hints point towards Lyanna and Rhaegar truly falling in love and running away together; not Rhaegar kidnapping her.

It's funny cause Robert Baratheon is portrayed as a hero and great warrior; but if Rhaegar had killed him rather then vice-versa, Westeros is probably a much much better place for everyone, including the Starks.
