Hey all,

So Jonathan Blum didnt have the year that was expected.

I asked the GM in my league what he wantes for him and told me a 3rd rounder.

Is there still potential there? Should i bother?

He's definitely been a disappointment this year.

I think it depends on what happens with Weber and Sutter. If they don't sign with Nashville then I think it may be worth taking a chance on him.
He will also need to continue adding significant bulk in the off season in order to better handle big forwards in front of the net and in the corners.

Not sure how much a 3rd rounder is worth in your setup but Blum will be a great 40-50 points defenseman, it just will take time. The positions is the toughest to learn and he isn´t in a very good spot, but usually talent suceeds and Blum got shitloads of it.

If you can wait on him and the 3rd isn´t much take the gamble, you´ll see the reward two years down the stretch.
