What do you think of this guy ? Will he have an impact in NJ ? Whats is upside ? 40 in his career season or more ?

I have both and I put them in the similar boat. If they become 30-40 point defenceman I'll be content. Both have solid games and oppurtunities and the skill set to be in that range. And considering that not many Dmen can talk about reaching 40 points these days, that's a feat.

I like both but I may pick Moore before Merill simply because the latter has had a lot of questions lately - he was indefinitly suspended from the NCAA if memory serves and ahs not played as of yet I think. So that could lead to problems, but I don't tihnk it realistically will. But such a small thing can make a difference.

Definite character issues with Merrill. I guess Lou would be the guy to smack him straight but I dunno.
