Just a quick question and a vote. Who won this trade?
My reasoning: I got really tired of Brad Richards. 7 game pointless streak, seems like Gaborik's line is picking up all the points, and NYR don't really score many goals to begin with! Clarke MacArthur played <10 minutes last game, skated on the 4th line a couple days ago, and in general doesn't look very good... Henrik Sedin will still put up 90+ points... I really didn't wanna part with him, but felt like I needed to by inching up to #1. Bobby Ryan and the Ducks seem to be heating up as of late... Playing top line with Getz/Perry. Dustin Brown on 1st unit PP, top line.. Patrick Kane, still reasonably consistent, a little bit under his normal pace, but I expect a solid 2nd half.

In my opinion, Henrik will destroy Kane in points. Also, Kane has a pretty bad disparity in home and away games and more than half ChI remaining games are on the road I think. I feel Richards and Ryan will be a wash, this point forward..I think both will have pretty decent second halves, but Ryan is relegated to PP2. Browns value is greatly diminished without physical peripherals, like in your league setup. |

I'm for the Ryan/Kane/Brown side to be honest... if there was another 55-65 pointer in McArthur's place then maybe the Sedin side, but if you look at the names and production the only player that really sticks out is McArthur.
My initial thought was McArthur doens't belong on that list. Sedin > Kane Richards < Ryan McArthur < Brown Some might question Richards < Ryan, but here's my reasoning, Ryan has 10 points in 10 games during the last 3 weeks, but he's generally a pretty strong 2nd halfer. Richards in the same span has only 4 points in 10 the last 3 weeks. I wrote in another thread about him having an "adjustment" period when he goes to a new team. I think he's experiencing one of those this year. I don't expect point-per-game from him moving forward. The Ryan/Brown/Kane side for me.
