what do you guys think of the leafs trading for Toskala and Bell for picks?
what will happen to rayzor? is Bell on the PP now?

I hate this trade, as a Sharks fan. JFJ stole those players from San Jose.
Bell on the Power play? possibly. He CAN score.

Rayzor/Tosky tandem until one steps up and takes it.

Man, Doug Wilson royally screwed up. he was supposed to fill holes with a Tosky trade, not dig some.

I think that we will be better able to assess the Toskala trade on July 1. San Jose is going to be a player on that day.

A lot of people are getting on JFJ, and rightfully so.

He should be flogged for the Rask/Raycroft deal. The team wasn\'t going anywhere last season, no reason to get a struggling goalie, much less pay a premium on a buyers market. (hellooo, 3 starting G = logjam)

What I don\'t like is people cutting down this trade because the Raycrap deal made it neccesary.(Simmons/Cox) Sure point out that it\'s a character flaw in the organization, lack of direction, planning, etc, but let the deal stand on it\'s own merits.

They paid market, to a degree less than FLA, and have plugged a gaping hole.

Now all they need is 3 legit 70pt + top F and they might be respectable again.
