Back to the question at hand, JJ's defensive struggles will give him limited ice time, and Voynov will receive the upper hand there. Eventually, that could lead to him being the better offensive threat.
Its Voynov, according to Kings insider. Always has been.

By the way the JJ thing has been discussed. Unless JJ is dealt he will remain on the PP.

I see this question on the forums all the time. Now, I'm not Russian, maybe one of our locals can explain from the Russian point of view, but having studied some linguistics, the reason we see so many variants of Russian names is that their names are written (at home) in Cyrillic, which uses a different alphabet than ours. So for there names to be written in our alphabet, they have to be transliterated into our alphabet, and there are two systems to do this (or more?), have been for ages depending on who is doing the transliterating. This will be the case for Russian, Bulgarian, Belarusian, Serbian, etc.

Sorry to digress, I just see this question all the time and got to wondering about it.

Considering he wears Voynov on his sweater I am inclined to go with that.

Voynov isn't necessarily a one trick pony. He likes to throw the body around, more so than JJ. Defensively Voynov has looked pretty decent. Once they start giving Voynov full time minutes, I think we'll see he's the better option, now and later, in multi cat leagues too
