Who would you take for the rest of the year?
Wait a few games to see if Ellis sticks

1. Where do you see McDonagh after Staal gets back?
2.Are there any buy low candidates I should look into?
3.Or, am I just too hard on my players?

Team in sig...

Noteable FA's are:
I.White
J.Garrison
J.Cowan
Z.Bogosian
J.Spergeon
T.Gilbert
M-E. Vlasic
M.Niskanen
J.McBain
I'd drop McDonagh for White.

Berglund - lots of upside, not there yet (not close)
Hanzal (great 2-way talent, won't ever be a big pt producer)
Doughty (needs to get back to his game, less hitting more skating)
J Johnson (35-45 pt guy)
B. Schenn (no ice time for him yet)
Colin Wilson (really like his game, but again ice time spread out in Nsh)
Jeff Carter (I suspect he'll have a good second half)
Strome (great prospect, ideal long term c behind Tavares)
B Connolly (big, skilled RW, needs to be more consistent - not a major problem)
Voracek (top six spot is his next season)
B. Maclean (not a fan, too slow for NHL)
Midseason Guide is out next week....

I want to add another good rookie right now and stach him for next year. We can keep 4 guys with less than 150 gp. I will probably keep B.Schenn, R. Bachman, C. Greening and my question is who to keep for the last spot (or I drop/trade Greening and get 2 new player). Any good prospect currently playing in NHL are gone (Connely, Ellis, Elliot, Read and so on). So from the above list who would you go for if I want to compete next year (basicaly a player that could help me next year with this setup).

Kadri, Nyquist, Tatar, B. Smith, Scheifele, Colborne, Saad, Kabanov, De Haan, Eakin or any one else i could forget.

Thanks
For sure drop Greening. I'd drop Bachman, too.

Go for Nyquist, Scheifele, and Smith from that list

Who do you want in your keeper league for next 5 positions? (9 to 13)

Thank you.
Not sure of the order....

with rundblad in Phoenix, longer wait for him?

thanks again.
Offensively - probably not. Should become a beast two-way guy though

Yes he can - 3 years? Hard to say w/ young dmen

Voynov too - lots of depth to overcome, though. Same issue for Rundblad. Talent always wins out, but sometimes takes longer to show it if there is a lot of competition.

Default 4 questions

trying to get koivu off IR and clear space for him without loosing a prospect or someone for nothing on waivers, so im looking into a package 2 for 1 or something of the sorts. im looking to keep the roster youngish so as to have it primed for years to come, i think i have the most upside of any roster in my league 10 teams, and im in 5th of ten now.

the stats for league are H2H and Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Points (PPP), Shots on Goal (SOG), Faceoffs Won (FW), Hits (HIT)
Goaltenders Stat Categories: Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Saves (SV), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO)

1. tim connolly had a great start to the season, slowed a bit since but is playing well since the injuries he experienced, will he regain his former self as a near point per game player? i have in my pool and want to know if i should hold on to him or package him with someone for a more definitive center man

2. anisimov whats his 3 year output look like? he seems to have found great chemistry with gaborik and stepan.

3. evaluate this potential trade, its for crosby.. the league im in has been very conservative in dealing with him, and have not offered much in return and want to wait it out... the deal in question i think he will accept because he doesnt wanna run the risk of crosby retiring and loosing for nothing, as this is a first year dynasty league and we have yet to have our prospect draft yet, waiting for offseason.

My: richards, read, connolly, anisimov, marc staal

His: crosby, nino niederriter, stalberg(also wondering, can he be a top 6 player long term)

should i do this ? or is the risk too much, my team is at the bottom of post.

4. what is nino's potential in the next 3 years and what kind of stats could he provide? i.e hits, shots, etc. i havent seen much of him just know he's highly touted but yet to produce much of anything this year. and would you package him for schenn?

thanks again angus big help!! love reading through your mailbag editions, very insightful and helpful. these questions have been plaguing me all season long

C- anisimov, richards, henrique, burmistrov
RW-lupul, kessel, read
LW-sedin, kane, neal
W-hall, eberle
D- kulikov, fowler, larsson, cowen, schenn, bogosian
util-connolly, kadri, clutterbuck
bench- johansen, perron, turris, white
IR- couturier, staal, koivu
G-reimer, niemi, rask, schneider, pavelec
