Default Advice for tonight

Osgood Vs Hawks
Legace Vs oil
Bryz vs ducks

I was thinking osgood (acording to goalie post he is playing - one of his 5 games for the rest of the year!!!) and Legace.

I think it is a gamble with legace, but the may bounce back after being shelled last night. Bryz has won both games againts the ducks, its just hard to start him when i\'m chearing for 4 goals from the ducks top line (see rest of my team).

Thanks guys.
Cheers.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but:
Osgood vs Hawks - It looks like Hasek will suit up against the Hawks tonight. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/pla...NHL&id=130
Goalie Post tends to make some assumptions based on back-to-back games (ie the backup will play one game)

Legace vs Oilers - It wouldn\'t suprise me to see Toivonen suit up against the Oilers. Legace didn\'t look sharp last night. He looks like he is getting worn down & Murray may go with Toivonen to give Legace a break.

Bryzgalov vs Ducks - This would be my pick. Other guys might not like it but a player always gets pumped up to play a team that traded/waived/got rid of him - Bryzgalov. Phoenix is fighting for their playoff life & have been playing better of late. Anaheim lost their leading goal scorer in Perry & despite playing well recently have not had success against Phoenix this season (1-4, lost 3 straight). I think this will be a low scoring affair.

WhatthePuck is right with goaliepost, however, if you actually read the article on rotoworld it says nothing on Hasek starting. It WILL be Osgood tonight so I definitely would start him.

And I agree with WTP and put Bryzgalov over Legace. Oilers are hot right now and I won\'t bet against them.
So I\'d go with Osgood and Brygalov.

JIMMAY,
Who are you going to believe about Osgood & Detroit goaltending?

Me or the or the guy that probably is a die hard Wings fan with the avatar of some \"unknown\" Red Wing guy holding the cup that he can barely lift with the screen name probably taken from that former Wing & now some ivory tower management guy - Stevie Yzerman. lol

Nice catch smack. I noticed it but figured that CHI would be a good test on whether Hasek could keep going with several consecutive games. I figured the Detroit starts would go:
Hasek vs CHI tonight
Hasek vs DAL Thursday
Hasek/Osgood split the weekend games (both afternoon games)

What\'s your thoughts on the future starts.

Hey whatthepuck..... I would go with you over the Diehard wings fan anyday. They are sick in the head. Not only that but I know you are correct about Hasek starting tonight. According to Yahoo:

Update: Hasek is set to make his fifth consecutive start Tuesday as the Red Wings host Chicago.

Recommendation: Mike Babcock has been true to his word, scrapping his goalie rotation for the final quarter of the year. Enjoy the ride, Hasek owners.

Come on Smack get on your game. You are representing the Wings fans all across Dobber Hockey don\'t choke like they do. J/K:laugh:

Just opening myself up for some Flyer bashing.....

Me too.

And that is why you listen to the die hard fan that bleeds their team colour instead of the sites that make assumptions or read too much into a quote.
Yahoo - wrong
Rotoworld - wrong
smack1919 - on the money

Osgood - win
Bryzgalov - SO win
