But as it always happens my team does well early in the week and then slows down wrong with a hair pulling close matchup

I have to say that there is a glaring mistake in this post, and I can't believe that you didn't spend the extra few seconds taking care of it as it is crucial to the quality of information being presented. I hope in future that the quality improves because I am not impressed.

We are in 2011, not 2012.

This is what happens when a guy like Gates works us till we collapse. My mind is currently in Dominican Republic where I won't have to worry about the year until I return and it says 2012.
