I know to never sit your stud goalies, but...............
Against the Wings with the big names injured I don't see him having stellar stats tonight. Thoughts?

I would start him. Personally, for my studs, I'd rather start a poor performance than bench a good one. It could be a risk and he could struggle, or he could stand on his head and steal the game. Especially in H2H leagues, I will always start my studs unless it's a late week strategic move when I'm ahead in the categories. I'd rather go for it, rather than play it safe. It's no fun with the latter. Just my opinion.

Yeah, start him. Obviously the Pens are better when they have all their elite talent playing, but Bylsma has them so well coached that they can compete regardless.

I would start him too. Not gonna lie, if it were any other team with any other coach I would consider sitting him but Bylsma has had to overcome a slew of injuries so far this season.
Granted none of them were as drastic as this with so many players out, but I think they could pull together to take it. Horrorfan and I share the same type of 'start over sit' mentality though so maybe we just count as one vote lol. |

Thanks for your input.
It is such a horrible feeling to sit your goalie in what you feel is a good spot to sit him, only to watch him stand on his head and post great stats.....
