Daniel Alfredsson
may have suffered a serious arm or shoulder injury after taking a cross check in the third period of Saturday's game, according to a report on CBC's Hockey Night in Hockey.
(Updated 12/10/2011). Great I just picked him up.

I saw the play. Definitely one of those short, hard cross checks, but I don't think it's arm or shoulder. He took it right by his kidney, where the top of the pants don't quite get up to and the back prt of the chest protection on the shoulder pad doesn't quite get down to. Painful for sure, but I supsect he may be sore today but able to suck it up and play?
