I think most will have to say Kessel's production is a good story, even though I don't own him in any leagues.

I don't think anyone expected Seguin's production to be as high as it is.

The Oiler's young line is out-performing everyone's expectations.

Even though it has fallen off a bit, Khabibulin's comeback has been pretty solid.

My personal top story is that it took my team in my sig 6 weeks to take the lead in my league. That's just unacceptable! Fortunately for them, their 8-2 performance last week secured top spot and saved me from shipping someone out.

To me it's been the guys that have been killing my fantasy hockey teams.

1. E. Staal and Zetterberg - did anyone see this coming?

2. M. Green and Visnovsky - F! U! Some guys just can't avoid injury.

3. S. Mason - I know he's sucked for the last two years but I guess there was a part of me that thought CBJ improved this offseason and that he could turn the corner.

4. T. Kaberle - Really? Jay Harrison has a WAY better stat line than you! In fact I believe he's more than doubling Kaberle's SOG. Embarrassing.

Luckily I've had other guys who have surprised this year (Jagr, Whitney, Weiss, Hartnell, etc) so it's been balanced but I need these guys to step it up.

Top GOOD Story: Goaltending Surprises.
Plenty of fantasy teams have to be thrilled with late-draft #1 starters and back-ups.

Mike Smith (PHX) and Niklas Backstrom (MIN) are two goalies that were drafted fairly late in most drafts and are paying dividends.

Khabibulin (EDM), Enroth (BUF), Schneider (VAN), and Elliott (STL) are all paying HUGE rewards for anybody who took a chance on them or jumped to the waiver wire to grab them.

Top BAD Story: Struggling & Inured Shooters.
Look at perennial Top 15 NHL Goal Scorers.
Ovechkin, Kovalchuk, Semin, Iginla, C.Perry, J.Carter, Parise, Bobby Ryan - all slumping badly.
Any fantasy team that grabbed two of these guys in the first four rounds is probably in a world of hurt right now.
