I had this posted in the general thread, but I figured I would also post it in this section
Written Wednesday November 2nd 1. Josh Harding will be making his third consecutive start tomorrow when the Wild take on the Canucks. He has allowed 4 goals in 3 games this season. (3 times against the struggling Wings) 2. The powerplay time has been very inconsistent throughout the season for Philadelphia d-men. With Pronger being hurt, Matt Carle leads the team in powerplay time per game. Carle had 2 PPP last season. He has 2 already this year. 3. Gabriel Landeskog is 8th in Colorado forwards in powerplay time on ice. In the last 2 games he has been 3rd and 2nd(by a second). He is 4th in the NHL in shots and sports a .93 shooting %. 4. Jamie Mcbain has had more powerplay time than Tomas Kaberle in 2 of the last 3 games and in the game where he didn't, they were only seconds apart. Mcbain does have 0 pts in those 3 games with a minus-one rating...but keep an eye out. 5. Today had the Blues lines with D'Agostini/Berglund/Stewart. Anything to snap out Stewart. Stewart started last season with 9+7 in his first 11. This season he has 2+1 in his first 11. 6. Derick Brassard had 3 points in the first three games the team played without Carter. He has 0 in his last four and was demoted to fourth line minutes playing 6:28 last game. He also only has 18 shots in 12 games. Guess we should not expect much from Derick (especially with Johansen staying up all season). 7. Matt Stajan was scratched two games in a row before last night. He returned playing 11:39 but ZERO on the powerplay. He finished last season with 4 pts in his last 18 games with a minus six. Still two more seasons left on his contract... 8. Petr Sykora left the Devils two years ago because they didn't have room for him and he simply wasn't quick enough to keep up. He has 3 points in his last two games and is playing every shift with Elias and Zubrus. Makes a decent pickup for depth leagues seeing as Elias led the Devils in points last season. 9. Tobias Enstrom is out after a high hit by Jack Skille and is expected to miss at least the next four games. Zach Bogosian for a short-term pickup. 10. Brian Rolston was knocked off the top PP for the Isles and replaced by Andrew Macdonald. Kind of strange with the PP ranked 11th in the league...but they did score 2 PPG last game.

Nicely done! makes me feel even better about packaging up Brassard with Gionta to acquire Tyler Ennis...thought it might be a good buy low with him being injured. Thanks again!

Great report LR! Keep up the good work.
FYI: Not a big fan of the double section post. I know you mean well, just not my cup of tea!
