So Kronwall just hit the waiver wire and I'm thinking of trying to land him. Problem is i have to drop a dman. The first one that comes to mind is Myers.

I believe...and this is just a hunch....he is in a stage of development where the org is working on his shutdown game and development of capabilities re same. Point being, I suspect....nay...anticipate a slight drop in offense this year. But his overall game will continue to develop...on his way to becoming a complete stud.

His numbers will still be respectable, this year. Just not the uber-elite many would llike to see (strictly speaking of G/A)

Kronwall's a good player with a good cap hit but I feel that his potential for points just because Rafalski retired and Lidstrom will retire has been overemphasized. I'd only take him over Myers in a one year league for the same reason the poster above said (other dmen like Subban and Carlson are facing the same problem...they're getting stuck playing against top lines and struggling for offense although Karlsson is still getting it done but not so much in his own zone).
