Default Oel

Does he deserve a spot on my roster right now over any of the guys I'm currently hosting?

I love this kid. I have him in one pool and been trying to obtain him in another for the last month. If I'm you he starts over Carlsson.

OEL is going to be a very good player someday, but for this season no I would not take him over any of your defensemen. Carlson should be your lowest scoring d-man and he's still a safe bet for 35 points or so, which will more than likely beat out OEL.

Green, Karlsson, and Letang are no-brainer keeps over OEL, even factoring in things like Green's injury risk and Karlsson's plus/minus disaster in the making (-40 this year? I wouldn't be surprised at all).

Smokie, I know you know this kid is going to be a BEAST and it started tonight. He has pure pedigree. Over 40pts this year guarantee.

Yeah Buda, but I'm soaring to my 2nd win this week and I've been crushing my opponents with skater points while my goalies are starting a bit slower. I don't want to make a rash decision. It's always so hard when considering picking up rookies because they could be so explosive or implosive . The first 2-3 games aren't going to really dictate how they will continue throughout the entire season.

I tend to want to pick up guys because their name is littered on the score sheet which is why I post on forums before doing something that I might think is a great idea but really is just over nagging desire to want to shake up my team's roster which isn't always a good thing. :P This is a partial keeper and I only get to keep 4 forwards, 2 defense, 2 goalies and I keep all my farm regardless of position. Was just wondering here really would I be crazy to replace Rundblad for OEL? I pretty much have all of my keepers clearly defined as of right now. Any guys I pick up can be housed on my farm until they hit 200 games played.

I would take OEL over Rundblad any day of the week. Rundy will be good but OEL can be an elite player.

Shit, I miss understood the question. Tour original post lead me to be leave OEL was on your Farm and you were just wondering who to start lol. I didn't think you had to drop Carlsson. I do how ever like him more then Rundblad on Pedigree. There 2 way capabilities are not ever going to be comparable, which means OEL is a 28min kind of defenseman. Rundblad will score a ton in my opinion but will never be that true #1 guy that just eats mins and doe's everything. Just my opinion, I flip em.
