Hey there,
Does anyone here use this piece of software at all in any sim leagues that they are a part of. If so do you have any tips on how to use this thing. I have a very decent team but can\'t seem to have much success with getting the most out of my team using this sim in our league. Are there certain things that the sim is looking for when deciding on the outcomes of games etc? Any tips/help/feedback available would be great. Thanks in advance! |

any more specific questions? I\'ve been in a few solid FHL leagues for a while and feel my understanding of it is pretty solid. It can be manipulated depending on your league, as some attributes are much more effective.

I guess I am wondering on a few things.
Does it ever make sense to doubleshift guys or do they just die of exhaustion and become week defensively. Is a great defensive team ever going to be any good or is it all offense for the most part. Should I ditch all guys with low DI or can I get away with a few of them? It seems like there have been a few teams with average (or worse) teams that have been able to do very well simply because they seem to really know how to \"work\" the sim. Maybe that\'s a start. Does it make sense to have 2 sort of balanced scoring lines, then a 3rd line checking line with lots of great defense and then finally a banging/crashing 4th line. What about this 3 line strategy that I have heard of (and tried with off and on results) of having your top line play on the second and fourth lines instead and thereby getting more ice time. It just seems like there are so many options available...lol It\'s a lot of fun and obviously not wholly realistic but I am hoping to try and get at least a little bit of an edge this next year. I didn\'t even make the playoffs this year with a team that I thought was pretty decent. |

Hopefully I didn\'t give too many questions, I\'m basically clueless when it comes to the sim

- if you can get a lot of good DF players with DECENT scoring attributes (PA, PC, SC) you should have just as good a team as one with the other way around. - I always have a few low DI\'s on my fourth line to keep things interesting. They get scratched in important games though..- the sim does funny things sometimes. If it was 100% based on ratings, then FHL leagues would be dominated by math experts. The sim is allowed to \"think\" for itself and this sometimes leaves the person with the better team questioning it. - I usuallly like to blend my lines a certain way. Obviously not going to give away all my tips.. but here are a few: - top two centers must have great PA and PC - each top line has to have a sniper - some defensive play as well - I usually have three scoring lines, but the third is a bit more defensive - my fourth line is usually grinders with high IT, EX, stuff like that. As I said earlier, some leagues prevent this. If you have guys with perfect DU and really good ratings, play them a lot. If your league doesn\'t have a rule against it, you might as well have your best guys out there as long as you can. And if they do get tired, just rest them for one game.
