I like Bogo for future multi-cat stud potential. Gragnani's AHL numbers are pretty great, though. I'd rank 'em:
1. Bogo 2. Gragnani I don't think the other 2 are stud material. |

Definitely Bogo is a cut above the rest especially if you can afford to wait on him, which given the guys you are choosing from, you can.
I think Gragnani is second but it's pretty close with DZ after. Franson isn't far behind but would be my last choice on the list.

yes, personal preference...I also think he has the highest upside on the list. I know Bogosian is a great option too, and in all honesty I find it close between those two. Bogosian has Byfuglien and Enstrom ahead of him. Gragnani has Myers and Ehrhoff. That said, I feel Gragnani will find a way onto the top PP unit and if not, he could either be traded or become a UFA at the end of the season.
Bogosian could be traded too, and in some ways he is more likely to be moved, but I just like Gragnani more here. I admit it is a close call though.

Bogo for me.
Bogo has - quality upside (clearly the third man in Winnipeg though) - full meal potential - youngest - played 22:24 per game last year - his numbers were very disappointing. Played two minutes a night on both PP & SH. Gragnani wasn't in the NHL & is older, worry about opportunity. Half ice guy. Franson is older and played 15 minutes a night last year. (he's a good one too). Half ice guy. MDZ is a very interesting kid. Struggles have been immense including AHL & stands. Rangers will believe they are a contender this year, which may limit his chances. Was very streaky in putting up his 37 points two years ago (40 game stretch in the middle with few points). I wouldn't want to count on him yet. Could be this year, or next, or next... half ice guy.

Depends on your style. Gragnani is the highest risk-reward of the bunch if you ask me... serious potential, and he may show it quickly, but a small sample size increases the risk exponentially. I'd probably give him the edge if you're a risk taker, we certainly know from his time in the AHL and the Q that he can score.
I like Franson next, who is incredibly overrated and might very well make you regret passing him by. Great first pass, booming shot (seriously... don't stand in front of that... ever), and pretty good mobility for a guy his size. Bogo after that, he may have higher upside than Franson but I think it's going to take him longer than it's worth (given these other great options) to break out. His defense was at times frightening. Of course he might very well make me regret saying that, but I'll stick with it for now. As for MDZ... high risk for no real benefit over the rest (as I see it). I'd pass on him, given the options.
