I am also not sold on Grabner, but to me, 2011 was a weak draft year and I don't want to get caught up in that hype. I am trying to find a gem that slipped through (like Tarasenko or possibly Grabner). All the Pool mags have Grabner as the real thing and could hit 40 goals within a year or two (when NYI become better and more mature).
I'd take Tarasenko and Huberdeau. Pretty clear cut IMO.

Huberdeau looks pretty good. I am thinking about maybe trading one of my forwards (Simmonds or Downie) and trying to land a 2nd or 3rd rounder. Grabner might still be available then. I've been doing a little research this morning and it seems to be a general consensus that Huberdeau could and should end up as the best player )potential from the 2011 draft. Is this hype true or is it Hubie just way overrated? I have watched some highlight film from Tarasenko and he is incredible.

I am also working on a deal that could possibly land me the 1st overall pick and 2012 top 2 pick. I am offering Seguin and Gagner as the package for the two firsts.

I forgot to mention that Granlund is available if that means anything.

So many of you guys would rate these players like this:

RNH
Granlund
Huberdeau
Tarasenko
Grabner

I would not think that Granlund would be so high, since he is a center (in Minny) and they have their number one center for the next 10 years in Koivu. RNH will be the number one center in Edm soon enough, Huberdeau (same in fla), but Tarasenko could eventually be the number one winger in St. Louis and Grabner is already a number one winger. He will probably be playing with Tavares this year.

Tavares played with Paranteau and Moulson last year.....I haven't checked frozen pools but watched enough Islander games to know that he primarily played with those two wingers.

Grabner will play on the 2nd line with Okposo and Nielsen/Bailey....Probably Nielsen as Bailey as better suited for the 3rd line...In my opinion anyways.

I would take Grabner and Tarasenko. Tarasenko will be a star in a few years, and I doubt Grabner hits 40 goals anytime soon, but he should hit 30 every season and is more of a sure thing that Huberdeau, Strome, etc. and like you said, centre is an easy position to fill.
