You get the #1 goalie prospect in the world (according to many including goalie guru Justin Goldman), One of the the top prospects in Brayden Schenn, a solid D-man in Voynov (76 GP - 15 G - 36A - 51 PTS ) and Loktionov and Toffoli are also 2 other very good NHL prospects.
Unfortunately Bernier isn't available otherwise I would probably go with LA. I guess the game played limit for goalies is probably around 30. My bad for not specifying that.

why do you have to draft the teams as they were in May 2011? Seems silly to me.

I don't know but I agree. I guess that was just when the lists were made for which players were eligible for this draft.

Just throwing some drak horses out there to think about I suppose

Nashville - Taylor Beck, Ryan Ellis, Jon Blum(8pts in 23 NHL games last year), Austin Watson, Roman Josi, Anders Lindback.....pretty impressive personally!

Anaheim - Emerson Etem, Peter Holland, Kyle Palmieri, Sami Vatanen, Smith Pelley, Justin Schultz possible Nick Bonino...no tendy here but going to have solid NHL guys as early as next year in Palmieri, Bonino and possible SMith Pelley.

LA - Brayden Schenn, Andrei Loktionov, Tyler Toffoli, Slava Voyinov, Thomas Hickey...no tendy again but at least two NHLers next season..

I think I'm going to pick St Louis first overall. Two strong potential stars and a solid goalie, plus Ian Cole will probably fit in well with our league. Here is my ranking for the bottom teams. I picked Philadelphia and Winnipeg as the 2 teams that I don't want. After that its pretty much whoever is left over.

24 Minnesota
25 San Jose
26 Calgary
27 Dallas
28 Montreal
29 Winnipeg/Atlanta
30 Philadelphia

I'm in this draft as well and it's quite odd cause you can draft Schneider, Holtby and Markstrom in the prospect draft but not Bernier. I draft 6th but basically my top eight to ten teams flipped every time I did them.

I'm picking last (14th) in this farm filler so telling how I ranked doesn't effect me at all since these teams will all be gone. I ranked all 30 teams in about 15 minutes so I'm sure it could be better. I added some notable players too.

1. OTT - Silfverberg, Greening, Butler, Condra, Rundblad, Lehner
2. DET - Tatar, Jarnkrok, Mursak, Nyquist, B. Smith
3. VAN - Hodgson, Schroeder, Tanev, Schneider, Lack
4. WAS - Perreault, Kuznetsov, Holtby
5. STL - Tarasenko, Schwartz, Jake Allen

So ya, a little different when we are choosing from a rigid list of "almost" all the teams brightest prospects. My list including names might make ranking the top 5 easier for others.

Good luck!
Haha, looks like it did effect you considering you got two of your top ranked teams.
