DobberHockey now provides FREE, CURRENT, NHL line combinations provided by Frozen Pool.
You can find them here.

While I tried my best to keep them up to date in a spreadsheet... it was too time consuming and I found I wasn't participating on the forum.

Happy to have my time back - and very glad that DH has chosen to include line combinations for free.

This is an unfinished work in progress.

I've asked Gates to help me get this project off the ground.
I think it will be a global benefit to Dobber users, especially in daily H2H leagues.
This link provides access to a shared Google Doc with line combinations.

Dobber users are encouraged to improve this spreadsheet by doing the following:

1. Post your comments, suggestions, tips in this thread.

2. If you have specific line combination suggestions, you can try to put a brief explanation in the gray cells for any team.

We will select Team Moderators to provide the drag-and-drop of team line combinations as coaches alter their line-ups:

1. Team Moderators should be familiar with Excel. (spreadsheets)
2. Team Line-ups should reflect an NHL team's active traveling roster. (No AHL prospects)
3. If you are interested in being a Team Moderator - please send a PM to Gates. I will let Gates select the best candidate for each team.

are you looking for accurate d-combos, i.e. guys playing on their proper side?

Yes - that would be really great stuff.

There are a good handful of super-fans (yourself included) that would make very good team moderators.

If these line combinations can be kept up to date daily - it would be terrific value.

I had a slew of Pittsburgh Penguins on one of my fantasy teams last year and tracked their daily beat-writer who listed the Pens practice line combinations. There's nothing like being the first to know the flavor-of-the-week-Crosby-winger!!!

Great work Pengwin!

My comment relates to the Habs.

I am almost certain that Pacioretty will play with Gomez/Gionta to start the season, they had so much success last year before MaxPac got hurt. I also think Cole is a perfect winger for Cammy and Plekanec, he's got speed to match theirs and can bang in the corners. I highly doubt you'll ever see MaxPac and Cole on the same line, doesn't make sense to utilize their size that way.

As for the powerply, I think you'll see either Pacioretty or Cole (probably Cole to start) on PP1, and maybe Gionta on PP2 (although he isn't afraid of getting those dirty goals in front of the net).

Pengwin, I also think that you'll see Eller/Kostitsyn joined at the hip next year, to start at least.
