Hi guys, what do you think of this deal. GM in my league really wants Malkin and has offered Gaborik and a D. I am pushing for Doughty but might have to settle for Pietrangelo.

So Malkin for Gaborik and Doughty or Pietrangelo. He also has Spezza who i can push for instead of Gaborik. Both players have injury risk's but are both PPG players, what do you guys think i should do?

Would you stand pat and just keep OEL as my 3rd keeper?

Team is in sig, its a pts only league.

Don't like it. With min keepers Malkin is worth holding on to.

I wouldn't even consider this trade. Gaborik is one of the most infuriating players to own in the league (Spezza right behind him, Danger Will Robinson!), and the combination of the two players still won't outscore Malkin by all that much anyway when you take games lost to injuries into account. It should take a lot for you to give away a player who's the best in the deal by such a large margin.

yeah sorry horrible offer. if you are going to move malkin do it during the year when you think the extra depth will help you. at keeper time keep malkin and oel much better than gaborik who is a borderline keeper bc of injuries and spezza not much better off. if you arent getting doughty then even more so not even a consideration into this deal.

just say no thanxs malkin is worth atleast 2 SOLID players not guys with questions surrounding them.
