I personally think its a good deal - at worst its even.

Stammer is probably the best player in this deal, but it is not by much over Backstrom. I expect both Backstrom and Heatley to rebound big time, and Voracek has nowhere to go but up. Right now I would avoid Perron like the plague - he can't even exercise yet.

I am the other party in this trade. I think it's going to be good for both of us. I feel like I gave up a bigger collection of high-profile names, as Backstrom and Heatley will most definitely improve next year. but given the fact that our league is heavy in goals and defensive scoring, i think this definitely makes my team better. I'll be sitting with some of the leagues leading goalscorers with Ovi, Stammer and Parise, and Subban and Myers should give me some goal action on D as well. as long as Perron takes it easy and gets back to health and produces to some degree, I think i'll be okay. otherwise this one might sting.
