First trade with this new team I just picked up.

Broke my heart to trade Richards as he's a beast in multi-cats league.

Trade goes down as this : Mike Richards + Joe Colborne + 9th overall pick for David Perron + 1st overall pick + 5th overall pick.

Trade made with fellow dobberites Kenzle1r. We had talks all night about it.
This leaves me short on forwards and I was already weak but I will try to get a good forward for Schneider during the summer!

Any thoughts?

yikes, that's a brutal trade for you...Perron is a far shot from Richards and much less durable and questionable...plus in a full keeper league of 16, the 1st overall projects to something like 48 pts (based off this year's stats) so that's really nothing special. I guess you could always snag a top prospect but without a farm team to stash him on I'm not sure how much of a strategy that is in your format...and with this being a weaker draft year than usual its not like you can snag the next Crosby
