I've just been offered C.Stewart & Fleury for my Rinne. Team in Sig. I'm not in contention this year and probably won't be next year... Please note that C.Stewart would take the keeper spot of Okposo or Ennis... So do you think that the diff. between Stewart and Okposo or Ennis would compensate for Fleury vs Rinne?

Also how would you rate C.Stewart upside?

I'd def do this

I would not do this deal. I am not a fan of Flower as I feel that he is incredibly overrated because of the team that he plays for. Rinne on the other hand is 100% completely legit. So there is no doubt in my mind that Rinne is the better end of that deal.

As for the C.Stewart vs Okposo or Ennis aspect, since you are out of contention this year and maybe next year, I would rather have Ennis or Okposo. I think that JT is really starting to figure it out as he has better than a PPG over the lest 20 games or so scoring quite a bit. Okposo is going to be the second best forward on that team for years to come. The only thing you give up with Okposo is you will not get the PIM that Stewart would give you. Overall, a push

Okposo = Stewart

Given the stats your league counts I really like Stewart for you. His points should be on par with Okposo for the next few years and he will outproduce him in the other cats.

While I feel Fleury is a downgrade from Rinne, his name still carries a lot of value and could net you a better return anyway.

I would make this deal.

I like C.Stewart......even though he's killing me at the moment............I like the Avs future, they have lots of young guns...in Stastny, Duchene, O'Reilly..etc. And Stewart is one of those cogs. I like him better than Okposo for the next couple years.

As for Fleury vs. Rinne...sure Rinne may be the better goalie, but Fleury isn't a bum. The fact he plays for a better team definitely stands for something! With Martin and Michalek back there too, look for him to have more support for the upcoming years too.

Good for you. It's a close one, but in the end perhaps you win out. Now, you say that this means one of your keeper spots for Okposo or Ennis is now gone. Well, let me tell ya, trade one or both to upgrade your goaltending if you can, because after Fleury, I'm not sure you can like your backups all that much (I'm not a huge Anderson believer...).
