Exactly. And Sedin would be at or near the top of overrated roto players when looking at the top 10/20 scorers, depending on your categories. That would be an interesting column for you to try GMG!

If you draft him accordingly, yes.

But too many GMs go out of their way and draft Toews expecting him to be top 20 talent - he's not. Due to his name being marketed, and the intangibles he brings to the team, it has swayed many poolies to draft him prematurely.

Mind you, his current pace puts him in the top 30-35. If he does finish with 30G, 43A, plus-12, 26 PIM, 28 PPP, 239 SOG - I'll gladly label him third round material. Otherwise his value lies in the fourth round (top 45).

Great point Dyz, and that's very true!

When other categories (FOW / FO%) or influences (salary) come into play, it definitely must be taken into account. Although Market Buzz only caters to the standard 6 skater categories (G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SOG).
