Reports are the Rangers are interested in him. What are the odds the Oilers trade him? Doesn't he have to pass through re-entry waivers? Would any other teams be interested?

He was never that good to begin with. he had a hard shot and a few good years thats it.

I think it's unlikely he gets traded or picked up on re-entry waivers. But then, I honestly didn't mind him last year when he was playing for the Oil. He was hurt so much of the time, but he played with heart, and that's how he got most of his injuries - I remember two of them were from fights while he was backing up teammates.
I wouldn't go picking him up any time soon though, especially not before a trade is confirmed.
