I had another thread earlier where the offer was my Datsyuk, Letang and Roloson for Heatley, Sharp and Plekanec.

In the end, it became after negotiations: Datsyuk, M. Koivu, Roloson and Timonen for Heatley, Sharp, Plekanec and Ladd.

How did I do?
pre-trade Team in sig.

The plan now is the drop Moulson and pick up Poulin from my minors team, and then somehow shift a LW for an equal value d-man.

You still did really well here.
You gave up Datsyuk which stinks but you gained so much in return. The only only player of significance you gave up was Mikko. Roloson won't be in the NHL much longer anyway.

I agree - I think you did really well here...here's how I break it down:

Heatley>Dats (even if Dats is LW eligible)
Sharp<M. Koivu (Very close but I personally like Koivu better)
Plekanec>>>>Rolo (not even debatable)
Ladd>Timonen (at this point it doesn't really matter)

I think the biggest gain from your negotiations is that you were able to obtain Heater all the while keeping Letang. Very nice trade for your squad.
