Will the injury to Elder mean Salo gets rushed back into the line up?
Aparently he has been practicing and travelling with the team for weeks, surely he's ready.
Is a cap situation the reason he isnt in the team already?
Surely he is a better offensive player then Ballard and so wouldnt he then be the better player to add, maybe Ballard gets more minutes but wouldnt Salo get the PP time?

I have Gilbert and MA Bergeron on my roster, which if any would you drop for Salo???

I really wouldn't, the 'Nucks still have plenty of D-men with Ballard, Bieksa, Ehrhoff. Salo is not fantasy relevant, stay away.

In a one-year, deep league he might be worth something. The Nucks have used him on the PP before. His points often prorate to around 35/season. Problem is that he never gets enough games in.

Still, with Ehrhoff and Bieksa/Ballard getting PP time too, I'd think there are better options out there.

With Edler out I would say he is fantasy relevant. Erhoff is obviously first on the depth chart, but Salo can produce equally or better than the likes of Bieksa/Ballard.
