Why is everyone so down on Vishnevskiy? Yea there's the KHL risk but there's no shortage of space on CHI for him and if he can land a roster spot next year, I don't see him going to Russia.

Well he's already been traded twice in past 12 months. I'd consider that as a bad sign for anyone who's once been considered as a top prospect. Also I'd say Lalonde, Connolly, Leddy and soon also Olsen are ahead of him in the depth charts in Chicago. Not to mention he's not going to crack Chicago's top-4 anytime soon even if makes the team.
