Default Drop Couture? (Gasp!)

I know, I can't be the only one wondering the same thing. The Sharks say "day-to-day", but look at Pavelski... D-T-D my @ss...

So I'm debating if I should dump the wunderkid on my 1 year league team (see sig below). My goalies are rocking , but my offense is not playing to its potential (Malkin, Semin, Laich)

Would you drop Couture for any of the following FA's

T. Fleischmann
S. Kost!tsyn
B. Comeau
J. Jokinen
E. Cole
S. Gomez
T. Seguin
M. Savard

Savard jumps out, but he's just not getting it done so far so I dunno... Or maybe keep Couture and hope he goes IR when Pronger comes off my IR list... Thoughts?

Since you start only two centers anyway, I don't think dropping Couture for Savard is too risky in hopes that Savard starts producing. Savard at his best is better than any rookie.

P.S.: Just noticed your location. Go Pack!!!

I agree.

You COULD wait it out a little longer to see what actualy happens...but I think if you grab Savard you will be safe. My bet is that he has a strong second half...starting sometime soon.

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about Savy on whether he'll wake up or not. I tend to agree that he just might not be the same 1pt per game player we all knew and loved.

The other guys in the list are scoring *right now*, but who knows when they're going to cool off.

I guess it boils down to whether to go for the homerun or go for the safer, short-term play. FWIW, I'm in 5th place in our 12 team league.
