Hey all, I'm the commissioner of a dynasty league drafting for next season and I need some opinions on my round 11 pick! Hard to believe Nick Lidstrom is still available in the 11th round, should I grab him?
Here is all the info you need to know.
G-A-P-PLUS MINUS-SHP-SOG-PPP-PIM-W-L-GAA-SV-SV%-SHO.
3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW, 5 D, 2 G AND 6 BENCH. There is also a 7 round prospect draft after the regular draft is completed.

I am debating because I would also like to have the Oshie-Berglund combination...

LW: Ovechkin, Kovalchuk, Neal
RW: Gaborik, Kessel, Voracek
D:
G: Halak, Pavelec

Given the fact that you have no D and your next choice to Lidstrom is Berglund, I think you have to take the risk here. The only reason I call it a risk is because Lidstrom could retire after this season. Given his production, I don't think it's likely unless of course the Wings win the Cup.

I think it is well worth taking the chance on though, if you plan on competing right away.

Lidstrom is very good value for that low a pick. Risky, yes. Crazy, no. Its a good risk to take I think.
