Golfguy made some great counter points and I can see you're going to go ahead with your offer but all I was saying is that there are better players for this year that will help you win (this year) out there over guys like Ryan/Carter/Myers....as I mentioned before, guys like St Louis and Lidstrom are far more valuable (and I'm not suggesting they're available, just using them for an example) for this year than a Ryan/Myers combo (who I would prefer in a non-limited keeper format)...

I also agree that you can't ingnore what Ryan brings to the table this year but I would argue against what he can bring in the future (for your team) as I think Staal is a far superior keeper over Ryan as your 3rd F keeper...hence my argument against acquiring Ryan...some may like Ryan more...to each their own...but I think we can all agree that both Staal and Ryan are fairly even keepers going forward with your point structure.

To say that Parise is getting you nothing this year as he's on the IR is a great reason to move him to get you over the hump, I just hope you're able to make a move that you won't end up regretting...
