Hi poolers,
The former 39th overall pick of the Rangers in 1995 Christian Dube is planning a return to the NHL. He said that he has some offers this year but he was still property of the Rangers, next year he won\'t. I know he\'s now 30 years old, and I know he played the Swiss league but he always posted great offensive numbers: http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/players.../00014471.html. Do you think there\'s a chance to see a team sign him (I think to Montreal first, with all the line-up holes. Dube is a Quebec native). If a team take a flyer on him, do you think he can be a fantasy factor. Thanks |

Very interesting, thanks Tommy...
This fellow strikes close to home with me. I drafted him as a 19-year-old in my keeper league and sat on him for two or three years. However, what I\'m finding with these Canadians over in Europe is that they come over to the NHL and contribute offense, but are benched for their D or their consistency. That was Dube\'s problem the first time around... You saw it with Glen Metropolit this past year.
