Default is Streit worth holding on to?

We only keep 3 d. and with Keith Gologolski Karlsson Shaterkirk Big Buff on my roster I can keep Keith and any 2 others and be set.

Will Streit come back this season? There is some intrest in my pool for him. May only be a draft pick but why not take it if he is no use to me.

Thoughts?

he'll be back, I'd keep him unless you get a great offer.

I would assume Keith and Karlsson are absolute keepers so you'd have to pick between Streit, Goli, Buff & Shatts. I would probably narrow it down to Buff and Streit so if I were you, I'd deal the one getting the most interest as I have a feeling that Buff is for real here.

In your position I think you need to think of next year as well. Keith and Byfuglien are the two definite keeper d-men with karlsson and streit being the wild cards.

You have the depth to dish Karlsson and wait on Streit's return this year (february, ideally), assuming there is a GM willing to pay for a premium offensive d-man.

If not then, yes, sell Streit. But don't sell him short just because an owner is crying that he's currently injured. He's a legit keeper, no doubt about it, and should be traded as such.

A GM in my league let him go to the waiver wire when initially injured, and I immediately scooped him and sat on him. Don't sell him low, whatever you do.

If you are worried about what Streit could provide for you this year, I think your current depth can cover it. However, you may want to wait until he comes back to trade him. He may come back all guns blazing. He is a very good fantasy defenceman.

I would be trading him tho as I would rather protect Karlsson and I dont think he is your number 2 defenceman if healthy. Right now, that would have to be Buf, but you have the luxury of time to decide what to do. Dont make any rash decisions when you dont have to. If you get a proper offer, of course take it, but dont rush into anything.

Unless you can guarantee he be back for atleast your playoff run(and if you are a contender) Id move him.

Last update I got he wont be back til sometime in March. No guarantees though. Heard anything else?
