I took over a very bad team last year, and try to rebuild it... my best players are my 2 goalies, Lundqvist and Rinne (3 for a W, 2 for a SO)

Upfront I have guys like... Tanguay, Kesler, Benn, Backes, Horcoff, Smyth, Pominville, Savard as my best players...

I'm really rebuilding, I have lots of promising youngs and prospects... Stepan, BConnolly, Perron, Backlund, Gerbe, Schroeder, Nyquist, Tarasenko, ...

Gotta think I'm not going to be contending for 3 years at least!!

And I have 2 first rounder in 2011 and 4 first rounder in 2012...

What you guys think about trying to get him for Raymond and a 5th rounder ??

The GM ask me about Kesler and Raymond, and offer me Gilbert and a 5th. I told me no for Kesler, but Raymond would be ok I think.

Is it enough to try it ? (Raymond+5th for R.Suter)

How are your starting 9 forwards? How many teams in the league?

In an average size league, Raymond would be a #7 or so F, with upside. Looking at your D corps, you still need help there, so I would make the deal if you feel confident with your forwards.

Do not give up Kesler! (You seem to already know that )

Also have guys that are/were injured... Savard, PM Bourchard, Pominville and Perron are good players that cracks my top 9 when healthy.

Not a great set of forwards, but I still think you can afford to give up Raymond in an 8 team league. Guys like him aren't hard to replace. You seem to be primed for a rebuilding phase, I'd start moving guys like Savard (wait a bit), Horcoff, Smyth, and Tanguay for some solid younger guys. Benn should be gold, hold on to him
