Default Holmstrom

Rank no 228 in dobber\'s top 300. Obviously one of Dobber\'s favorite

24 goals +/- 7 in 2nd half playing with Zett and Dats. What do you think of him for next year ? 35-40 goals candidate ? Or should i stay away from him ?

he\'s a garbage man...if zetts plays well for more than 50 percent of the season, he could see a goal increase.

Not just a garbage man, the ULTIMATE garbage man. Think Ryan Smyth at a fraction of the price. I really like this guy\'s consistency and he\'s a good pick-up for depth in a salary capped pool.

Almost guaranteed he\'ll be with Zetterberg/Datsyuk for next season, banging in leftovers. Also, because he\'s always parked in front of the net, even if he doesn\'t get the G or A, he\'ll be on the ice for the +/- if your pool counts that.

Didn\'t Phil Esposito score a ton of goals from the crease? I didn\'t get to watch Shutt or Espo during their prime. When you say ultimate garbage man, the first names I thought of were Tim Kerr and Dino Ciccarelli.

Cicarelli, great example - how could I have forgotten him?!

Shutt had the bonus of knocking in rebounds from 70\'s-era Canadiens superstars like Lafleur.
