In a keeper league who would you rather have? Will Goli ever live up to his potential? Visno has missed alot of games in the last few years. Leaning toward Goli but would appreciate some input from you guys.
Rep for advice! Thanks!

If it is in the next 3 - 4 years, I may lean on Visnovsky. I gambled on Goli over Letang this year and lost.
I'm ok with that since I wouldn't keep either. Saying that, Visnovsky really isn't doing any more spectacular than Goli to take the risk. He is 34 and Goligo is a lot younger. What are your goals? You get reliability for the next 2 years at least with Visnovsky but the ceiling is high with Goli. Any injury to Letang would give Goli a huge shot. Personally, I would lean on Visnovsky if you are thinking just 2 - 3 years. Even so, it is a toss up.

Visnovsky is going to miss A LOT more games if the Ducks keeping leaning on him the way they are. He is already fragile enough and he's playing all these minutes in so many games this year. It's not a matter of "if" but when Visnovsky goes down with injury.
Take Goligoski. He could always pull a Letang himself if he finds himself playing with Crosby as much as Letang is. |

This summer I would have said Goligoski, but after seeing the emergence of Letang and the role of Visnovsky first hand, I would go with Lubo for the next few years.

Goligoski all the way!
He and Letang will be top 10 D for the next ten years. Book It! |

Could be right. They both have talent. But I think Green, Doughty, Karlsson, Keith, Enstrom, Johnson, Subban, Pietrangelo, Fowler, Carlson and Shattenkirk will be up there too eventually. It will be fun to see how the future D shakes out.

Lubo for the next 2-3, agreed. Might hold that back to 2 though.
3+, Goli. |
