Default Saturday, Dec 4th - Studs and Duds

Studs

Colorado/Tampa Bay

Didn't watch it, don't know what happened but 11 goals in a one goal game sounds fun. Good on them for opening it up and putting on a show for the fans.

Taylor Hall

OT winner for the kid, another win for the Oilers. Not going to win the Cup but no one in Edmonton is mad with the way these kids are playing.

Ryan Miller

Back to Back SO's, nuff said.

Duds

Ottawa Senators

8 Periods and counting without a goal, something's gotta give.

Columbus Blue Jackets

Back to Back nights, back to back blowout losses. Not sure whether I'd rather be Ottawa or Columbus right now but both are in some trouble.

Johan Hedberg

Started off well but is starting to show why he's never made it as a full time starter.

Tim Thomas absolutely has to be on the studs list, as does Pavelec.

Thomas made the save of the year (probably will be the best save of the entire season) and stood on his head all game to keep the Bruins in it and finally let a second one in with under a minute left.

Pavelec had a 45 save night against Washington, and only goal he let in was by Ovechkin on a 2-on-1. Enough said.

Didn't see any games tonight as I'm working. Losing to the Leafs can't deserve a stud rating regardless of how good he was. Pav could take the 6-5games place but I just like seeing high scoring games sometimes and it looks like it was fun to be at.

Thanks for the feedback though
