Default Bouwmeester or Liles?

They both appear to be playing the top PP unit (Though Bouwmeester also plays the penalty kill)

Bouwmeester is coming off seasons of 46 and 42 points
Liles is coming off 49 and 44

Bouwmeester is 25
Liles is 28

Bouwmeester got 11 of his 42 points on the PP
Liles got 28 of his 44 points on the PP

At first glance, it seems that Liles is the best choice for a one year league that rewards PPP. But, Bouwmeester is a FA and I\'m thinking of picking him up.

Is this pretty much a wash or does anyone think that Bouwmeester has a much bigger 2nd half than Liles?

pickup Bouwmeester. He is a notorious second half player and Liles wont have Sakic or Smyth to play with. It\'s a pretty simple decision.

I agree with Boumeester I think Colorado is in big trouble and Stastny isn\'t pointing as well with Sakic out as the checking lines are keying in on him. Hence Liles will not produce and with Murphy out Boumeester who logs a ton of time will have his usual second half. The problem with Jokinen is he only looks for Horton,Stumpel and Weiss and they cycle down low on the PP and the D don\'t produce as well as they should and the only other guy that gets key time is Salei and I think that is not an alternative. But Bou before Liles would be my guess and don\'t forget that Clark has been getting a lot of PP time on the first unit in Colorado.

I\'ve read something on RotoWorld saying that the Avs have tried Hejduk on the point in Liles or Clark place. I don\'t know if this will last, but I would definitely pick up Bouwmee.

Default Bouwmeester or Liles?

There is a decent chance Liles is dealt. The Avs do not want to extend him at what he wants (or so the rumors say), and they have been happy with the play of youngster Kyle Cumiskey.

I\'d take Bouwmeester relatively easily.
