What's the deal with Vlasic this year? 8 games in, ZERO points, -5, 9 SOG, ZERO PIM, ZERO PPP -- that's it across the board. Dobber has him pegged for 38 points, 48 PIM. Just a slow start, or what's going on out there in SJ with him?

Vlasic does not typically play on the PP and he is not going to get to 38 points. Thinking that Vlasic is going to get 38 points is like thinking that Cheechoo is going to score 30 goals. SJ does not use him as an offensive weapon and he took a huge step back last year. Not sure why but he didn't really jump at all and his defense suffered quite a bit. His +/- will bounce back and he will be around +5 as long as SJ does not play Niemi and he will get you between 40 and 50 PIMs but his point totals are going to be down around 25 to 30 tops.
