I just read this. Today in the Ottawa practice Ray Emery was venting his frustration at not getting enough playing time to Paddock. He left the ice when practice was over smashing his stick on top of the boards knocking over all the water bottles.
He then threw his stick into the stands and left the ice.
G.M. Murray said he wanted to speak to Emery after practice but he had already left the building.
He was upset at Gerber getting the nod again tonight.
This situtation is going to have to be worked out with a trade. Their is clearly not enough room in the locker room for both Goalies.
Just thought I would share that for what it is worth.
That last part is just my take. Not confirmed by anybody who means anything. (Just me)

thanks for the info , i knew it would\'nt be long before emery got pissed at playing 2nd fiddle to gerber even though the sens showed their commitment to him by signing him to a nice contract at the begining of the season despite the fact he was injured and not able to start.gerber comes out of his hiatus and plays his game and proves he\'s worth his weight in gold , never complaining of his previous situation in carolina or ottawa , playing 2nd fiddle to a guy who\'s childhood hero is mike tyson , go figure!if emery was\'nt a whiner the sens would be smart to keep both until the end of the season/playoffs , but emery will try to spoil the sens chance at a 2nd cup run , thinking of himself instead of the team , maybe redden should give him some advice,lol.if i was paddock i\'d call up jeff glass and throw him in a game or two and show emery he can be replaced!

smoothfun is right, I don\'t remember once hearing Gerber complain last year when he wasn\'t starting. He didn\'t deserve to and Emery did. Everybody knew it. This time everybody knows Gerber deserves to start and Emery lets his whole team down with this ridiculous outburst. And it pisses me off when people say \"this frustration is a good sign for him\". No it\'s not, it just makes the locker room feel more awkward and divides. They need to trade him. . . to LA.

I considered that it was just a matter of time that Emery would do something that would generate disruption and/or trade talk. I am hopeful that he gets traded soon. L.A. would be a good fit for him.

I need him to become a starter on a good team. This wish is purely selfish, greedy, and self centred. I need this to happen in the Dobber pool.

My goaltending has been problematic.

Do you honestly think L.A. wants Emery?

Here\'s a hot young team playing in a place where a a cocky young athelete can get into a ton of trouble. Why add a goalie with one good season, one hefty contract and a bad attitude? Makes no sense. I mean if you can\'t avoid getting into trouble out the sticks of Kanata then you don\'t need to go to the big city.

I think that at this point L.A. has learned their lesson with goalies. Cloutier, Chechmanek, Huet, Potvin - all busts for the Kings.
