You also should look at it in a reverse roll though. If someone tried to get one of your top forwards and offered you cullen and another mediocre forward, would you really want to do it? Cullen is no guarantee as he has no backing. I could be wrong as I do not follow Carolina as much, but isn\'t he a 3rd line center? Generally there are forwards in the FA that can make up the difference. I am not trying to put the guy down, as he is performing really well this season, but no one is going to light up when they see his name, until may be next season when they see how well he did the season prior. It\'s mostly psychological I tell you! If names is what people want, try to sell them underperforming forwards and keep cullen, perhaps you will have better luck.

he\'s the PP quarterback on one of the highest scoring teams in the nhl - that\'s what backs him up.

I follow Carolina pretty close. I have Brind\'Amoor and Cullen. Cullen is more than a thrid line center. He plays the power play and logs a ton of ice. He also double shifts quite a few times during a game.
He moves on and off just about all the lines at some point during a game. He has been a nice pickup for me. I can\'t get P Kane,S Kozlov into my lineup or alot of times Brind\'Amoor because of him. I find it hard at this point to take him out. That is how good he has done this year. |
