I don\'t know what goes on but sometimes it does not give me PP points and does some weird calculations . Last night Ribeiro gets three PP points and none have shown. Also Kipper got a regulation time Shutout and it showed Shutout points when I went to bed and had removed them by this morning. It happens with regularity. Am I the only one??

Ribeiro hat 3 Points, but only 1 at PP.
Kipper lost 1:0, no need to give him a SO. Just watch the games or at least the stats!!!!!!! There is actually a PP Point missing, but i´m pretty sure the´ll fix it soon. |

Only get a shutout if it goes to the end of OT as a draw. They always seem to manage to do the stat corrections at the end of the week when it rolls over for a new week - do you know how to check Yahoo stat corrections Dilly?

Yes I no they will do stat corrections and usually roll them on Sunday night.I know last year they gave me credit for a shutout when Brodeur lost in OT 1-0 but not the win points or the -1 for a regulation lost. I looked at the game recap and it showed Ribeiro had 3 PP point but I also just looked at the coinciding penalties and only one of Rib\'s point could have been PP. Last night it was correct once then all of a sudden flashed that Rib had 3 PP points. I was watching NHL on the Fly and thought he had only 1 PP point.
But quite often during the evening it records straight points and not PP points but usually during the night it self corrects. I run by the computer 5 or 6 times checking updates during the evening. |

First things first: NHL Boxscores are useless. You have to look at the \'official\' game summary:
http://www.nhl.com/scores/htmlreport...8/GS020535.HTM As you can see from the link above, there was only 1 PP goal in the Montreal-Dallas. Secondly. You are wrong about Kipper getting a shut out. He let in a goal in the 5 min. OT period. Therefore he doesn\'t get a shut out. If the game had gone to a shoot out, then yes, he would have gotten a shut out. Learn the rules my friend. |

Yeah.. you can\'t really trust the box scores if you\'re trying to get information during the game.. I find it gets really messy when you have a few penalties doled out in a short time span. After that Yahoo shows everything has shorthanded and on the powerplay..
I often find myself looking at the times of the penalties (which are usually accurate) to see if the box scores make sense. (i.e. did he score within 2 minutes of the last penalty).. |
