Hello guys,

In a keeper, would you trade Brad Richards for Olli Jokinen ? Goals are worth 2 points : that may give the edge to Jokinen. However, Richards is Richards, and I\'m sure he\'ll bounce back.

Any thoughts ?

If goals are worth more then assists then Jokinen is the way to go. Even in straight points I think that Jokinen might have a slight edge going forward (I am a Jokinen owner so I may be biased). Their best years (90 points) match up evenly and Jokinen did it with less support.

However, in my opinion, this is a ‘sell-low’ time for Richards and a ‘buy high’ time for Jokinen . . . if the guy is willing to trade Jokinen for Richards now you may be able to do better if/when Richards starts the 07-08 season with a bang.

With goals being worth 2 times as much as assists, you gotta go with Olli. He finishes in the top 5 in shots on goal almost every season, and more shots equal more goals.

I question why anyone would accept this trade though... I\'d think you\'d have to be an idiot to give up Olli in a goal weighted league...
