Im in a points only keeper and am looking to get some value for Prospal and dump Blake. Elias seems to have found his groove with Parise and I view this as a wash. Vanek on the other hand is the question mark. Will he pick it up? I also see Prospal\'s points decreasing when Richards or St.Louis gets traded.

For this year I see myself losing by only a few points but the upside is in favour of Elias/Vanek.

The problem I run into is I have to drop 5 players at the end of each quarter of the season. The way things are right now Prospal would be the only player not being dropped unless Vanek and Elias play to their potential. I don\'t want to pick up Elias and Vanek and have to drop them in January.

In conclusion:

1. who wins.
2. will Elias keep pace with Prospal
3. is Vanek going to do anything. He only had 1pt in the 7-1 win over the sharks.

I am not a big Elias fan, but I think you are right he is a wash with Prospal. You pretty much know what I think already, but I think you have to keep Vanek, especially if you can get rid of Blake. I unloaded Blake and Liles for Cogliano and Bieksa and guys in my leaugue couldn\'t figure it out, then Blake whent pointless for about 6 or 7 games. I still like my end of the deal better. I would think Vanek would be a keeper, his best years are still ahead.

Don\'t worry too much about the 7-1 no point deal, do you really want a player who pads in a blow-out? What if he had put up 5 points in a situation where the other team was already looking at the next game? Does that make him more or less attractive?

If I could get Vanek and dump Blake, I would do it in a second.
